BelieversDiary is a social journaling app for Christians to share moments, devotions, and prayer requests with their church family. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, a chosen handle, and your email address. When you use the app we store the content you choose to post: photos, videos, written devotions, prayer requests, comments, and profile details such as your bio and assembly membership. If you grant camera, photo library, or notification permissions, we use them only to power the matching feature in the app.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the app: showing your posts to the people you choose to share them with, generating trip newsletters you request, sending notifications you have not disabled, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Sharing
Content you post is visible according to the audience you choose (your assembly, the wider church, or everyone) and is stored with our backend provider, Supabase. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. Newsletter generation sends your trip photos and captions to Anthropic to produce the newsletter text you requested; this content is not used to train models.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your posts at any time, set your account to private, and delete your account from Settings, which removes your profile and content from our systems.
Children
BelieversDiary is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
